À direita a Igreja da Pena, consagrada em 1705, construída pelos próprios fregueses e pelos Irmãos de São Francisco, sofreu danos consideráveis com o Terramoto. Não dispunha na altura de Capela-Mor, que viria a ter grande riqueza em talha e elevada qualidade artística. O portal é encimado por um frontão triangular e tem ao centro um medalhão oval representando Nossa Senhora da Pena. A igreja é de nave única e as pinturas do seu tecto abaulado são alusivas à coroação da Virgem.
