A Ilustre Casa de Ramires' - Casa da Torre da Lagariça \r \r Imóvel classificado de Interesse Público desde 19 de Setembro de 1977 pelo Decreto n. 129/77, DR, 1. série, n. 226 de 29 setembro 1977 \r A Casa da Torre da Lagariça foi o local de visita e inspiração do escritor Eça de Queiroz para o romance, 'A Ilustre Casa de Ramires'. \r \r A construção da Torre da Lagariça data da primeira metade do Séc. XII. \r A torre é um sólido torreão militar de linhas de planta quadrada, que serviu de ponto de vigia e prisão, sendo mais tarde construído o casario em volta da torre e tornada casa de habitação dos fidalgos da Torre da Lagariça. \r A torre teria como objetivo a defesa da linha do Douro na época da reconquista Cristã, servindo de torre da atalaia, mas a sua função militar perdeu o significado com o estabelecimento das fronteiras mais a norte. \r No Séc. XVI a Torre da Lagariça foi adquirida pela Brasonada família Pinto, senhores da Torre da Chá e do Paço de Covelas. \r Situa-se na Freguesia de S.
