XVI). São de referir, no interior da Igreja, vários altares de talha dourada e panos de azulejos seiscentistas. Os dotes culinários destas monjas podem ser ainda hoje apreciados, através dos Arrepiados e Celestes, cujas receitas tradicionais foram mantidas vivas pelas habitantes de Almoster. Foi também em Almoster, que se travou em 1834, a Batalha de Almoster entre as tropas absolutistas, D. Miguel, e as tropas liberais, D.
