The property is located in a very quiet area, almost at the end of a tarmac road at the end of a little hamlet, with only few neighbors. You can walk out of your front door, turn right, and after about two hundred meters the tarmac comes to an end and you enter a forest path, from which you have several further paths to choose from.

Back into the hallway, we walk up the stairs, safe with a sturdy wooden railing. At the far end of the upper floor there is a large bedroom, with a large storage area on one side, then to each side of the staircase the is a sitting area, and at the other end of this floor there is a further room which could be converted into another bedroom or a bathroom. On the side facing the lane in the front of the house there is a small balcony.
Standing on the lane in front of the house, looking at the house, to the left we have an iron gate leading onto a terracotta tiled space to park three cars. Next to it we have the garage. The garage has enough space for two cars and has electric supply. From the parking space there are three steps, with railing, leading onto the covered terrace to the rear of the house. Behind the garage, there is an entrance for a tractor, so it´s easy to work the plot of land to the rear of the property. It measures exactly 1000 meters, and we find a good number of well-maintained trees here: there are two large orange trees, three tangerine trees, one lemon and one small apple tree and seven large olive trees. And one large fig tree.
The terrace to the rear of the house runs the length of the house, is fully tiled and boasts painted cement railing all around and wood paneling on the ceiling. We have wonderful far reaching views from here, looking out onto the rolling hills beyond. In the corner nearest to the kitchen we have a bbq with chimney and enough space to make an outdoor kitchen corner. We also have a traditional Portuguese manual washing machine with a water faucet above. The terrace is the perfect place to be, whatever the time of day or the season. Here we can sit and appreciate the quietness of the location, where noises made by humans are rare to be heard.
This property is located 3.5 km from Cernache do Bonjardim, a lovely little town where most of your daily needs can be met. The large town Sertã is located 7 km away. Here we have several supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks, schools, health centers, cafes, bars, an indoor pool with gym, a river beach, a very pleasant river side park with café and municipal buildings and is easy to access off the IC8 dual carriageway.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around two hours and ten minutes. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights to and from the United Kingdom and other European countries. Porto airport is not significantly further away, only 15 minutes more to drive than to Lisbon.
