The 'Quinta do Monte dos Alegres', with an area of 6,750 square metres, is located near the town of Campo Maior, best known for the headquarters and national production of Cafés Delta, also the birthplace of the late Comendador Rui Nabeiro. It is very close to Elvas and Spain / Badajoz, in the Alentejo. The land is rectangular in shape and practically flat.
We should point out that, as well as the space being very pleasant and harmonious, and the fact that there have been several buildings on the property for over 14 years (a house for leisure and 2 pavilions with a physical area calculated at a few hundred square metres, for storing agricultural implements and vehicles, or for any other purpose, It should be noted very clearly that all these buildings on the property are 'omitted' from the land registry, i.e. they are not even registered or recorded from a documentary point of view, although in reality they were built more than 12 years ago. PROTA and the PDM don't allow them to be registered with the tax office or with the land registry. However, the house, a small 'Chalet', consists of 1 bedroom, 1 small unfinished bathroom, 1 living room with fireplace / kitchenette and 1 covered veranda. Next door is a shed with a barbecue and a pond that serves as a swimming pool.
Next to the house, there is an artesian borehole and alternative energy was once produced by a kind of windmill, which is now deactivated and can be used to install photovoltaic panels, an investment that will pay for itself, although electricity is about 600 metres away. There is also an area of cleared land on the property that could be used to plant olive groves, vines or fruit trees, given the good quality of the land.
