Está magnífica propriedade foi obra do famoso arquitecto Miguel José Nogueira Júnior (1883-1953), também ele natural de Seixas e foi sua primeira residência de família. Formado pela Escola de Belas Artes de Lisboa e discípulo de Ventura Terra com quem colaborou nas obras de remodelação do Palácio de São Bento, Nogueira Júnior ganhou dois prémios Valmor em Lisboa em 1913 e 1916, com o nº 23 da Avenida República e, com o edifício do nº 2 a 6 da Avenida Luís Bívar, para além de ser também projecto seu o prédio com o nº 12 da Rua das Picoas (1912), o antigo Banco de Fomento Nacional na Rua da Conceição 134/136 (1919) e o edifício da Casa dos Açores na Rua dos Navegantes nº 21 (1921). A freguesia de Seixas goza o privilégio de se encontrar na confluência de dois rios: rio Minho e rio Coura. Com o seu vasto património natural e cultural, Seixas é um encanto para todos os sentidos.
